What is Proof-Of-Work ?

Proof-Of-Work consensus algorithm is based on solving very complex cryptographic computation. A validator of Proof-Of-Work consensus runs a node which receives this puzzle and tries to solve it. If that node is the first to solve this puzzle, the node is rewarded with the native token of the blockchain they are running a node on. The people who operates node for Proof-Of-Work Algorithms are called miners.
