Purpose of Ripple Extension

The purpose of making Ripple extensions is to provide greater flexibility and functionality to the Ripple network, which can help to promote its adoption and use in a variety of different applications and industries. By allowing developers to add new features and capabilities to the protocol, Ripple extensions can help to create a more robust and versatile payment system that can meet the needs of a wide range of users.

The Ripple Network is used to create transactions from one currency to another for example (xrp to bitcoin) and the transaction cost is also low in ripple network. It is a secured and decentralized network. So we are creating a chrome extension of Ripple Wallet.

How to run the extension:

1. Download the source code

2. Run the following commands:

npm install
cd extension
npm install
npm run build

3. Open chrome browser

4. Head over to chrome://extensions/

5. Enable the developer mode in the top right corner.

6. Click on Load unpacked.

7. Select the build folder that was generated in Step 2.

8. You have successfully install the ripple chrome extension in your browser.
